Registry

The Registrar's Office is pivotal in overseeing student records, enrollment, course registration, and academic scheduling. The student records are maintained in the registry utilising CRM software. It guarantees adherence to academic policies and regulations while protecting the integrity of student data.

The registry serves as the administrative hub of the university and is essential for the effective management of the institution, ensuring that it operates smoothly and efficiently while fostering the academic success of its students.

The registry team manages a wide array of responsibilities, from providing admissions support to facilitating a seamless transition for new students, to precise record-keeping of grades and outcomes. They supervise course enrollment and registration, ensuring that students fulfill expectations and managing course capacities.

The team also plays a critical role in handling the logistical elements of examinations and upholding the integrity of these processes. As students approach graduation, the registry performs audits to confirm that degree requirements are satisfied and clears students for graduation.

Acting as a crucial resource, the registry team assists with academic policies and registration concerns, supporting students throughout their educational journey. The registry is accountable for all aspects related to student records, including course information, extensions and deferrals, results processing, course transfers, and guidance on progression, among other responsibilities.

Learning Experience Platform (LXP)

Coventry University Kazakhstan is dedicated to fostering an engaging and effective learning environment, which is why we proudly use Aula, our digital Learning Experience Platform (LXP). Unlike traditional LMS that primarily store materials and broadcast messages, Aula creates positive, active, applied, and inclusive learning experiences, making learning simple, social, and truly engaging for both educators and learners.

This innovative platform streamlines classroom conversations, learning materials, assessments, and data-driven insights into one intuitive tool. The Community Feed centralises all communications-including announcements, community posts, direct messages, and instant groups - transforming conversations into a living social feed, thereby fostering a stronger sense of community. Furthermore, educators can build rich and immersive learning materials in the 'Journey' area, incorporating text, images, video, voice recordings, code snippets, and discussion prompts, with additional capabilities through 3rd party integrations.

Aula empowers students with a more interactive and engaging learning experience, improving their ability to learn and connect with educators, making tutors feel more accessible. For our dedicated educators, Aula provides powerful tools such as the Engagement Dashboard, offering real-time data and insights into learner activity between assessments, allowing them to adapt their approach and proactively support students, ensuring everyone feels included. Students and educators can conveniently access Aula via its web app across most internet browsers, as well as native apps for iOS and Android devices.
