HR Manager

Work Experience: 1–3 years
Full Time 

Position Overview: 
As HR Manager, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end recruitment, supporting international hires throughout their relocation and onboarding, and driving internal learning and development initiatives. You'll also contribute to building a strong organizational culture and improving HR systems and processes in a dynamic, international university environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment process: post job openings, review CVs, conduct interviews, check references, and provide feedback.
  • Support international employees during their relocation:Before arrival: collect documents, arrange visas and work permits. After arrival: help with finding accommodation, completing local registration, opening bank accounts, and getting medical insurance.
  • Organize onboarding and introduction sessions to help new staff settle in quickly.
  • Plan and coordinate staff development activities such as trainings, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Promote a friendly and inclusive work environment by organizing team-building and engagement events.
  • Take part in improving HR processes related to international staff.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in HR, especially in recruitment, onboarding, or international staff support.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with flexibility.
  • Experience in an international or academic environment is a plus.
  • English fluency is essential; Russian and/or Kazakh language skills are an advantage.

Sports Manager

Work Experience: 3–6 years

Position Overview: 
Coventry University Kazakhstan is seeking a Sports Manager to lead, organize, and develop the university’s sports programs. The role focuses on fostering an inclusive and dynamic sports culture that enhances student life, promotes well-being, and supports the university’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the gymnasium and all university sports programs, including varsity teams.
  • Plan and manage sports events, tournaments, and competitions.
  • Coordinate schedules, training sessions, and logistics for teams and events.
  • Collaborate with the Student Life and Communications departments to promote sports programs and engage the community.
  • Supervise coaches and staff, ensuring a positive and professional team culture.
  • Manage budgets, equipment, and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with university and governing body regulations.
  • Support student-athletes’ development, health, and academic success.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sports management, athletic administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and staff members.
  • Knowledge of sports regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in athletic administration.
  • Experience in event planning, budgeting, and resource management.

Student Recruitment Specialist

Work Experience: 1–3 years
Full Time 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Student Recruitment Specialist / Education Sales Manager to join our team during a period of active growth. In this key role, you will promote our educational programs, support prospective students throughout the entire admissions process, and contribute to the implementation of the student recruitment strategy in Astana.

Key Responsibilities

  • Main responsibility — process inquiries in the Bitrix CRM system to promote Coventry University Kazakhstan’s academic programs among prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle — from the first inquiry to enrollment.
  • Provide consultations to applicants regarding application procedures, admission requirements, and program benefits.
  • Represent the university at education fairs, open days, school visits, and online events.
  • Organize open days, school visits, and online engagement events.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to ensure a high-quality admissions experience.
  • Monitor data and trends to improve efficiency and achieve recruitment targets.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of applicant engagement and admissions processes.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism in all communications.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales.
